Metalib and EndNote training available in February

It’s that time of the year of again when we offer special training sessions on how to use Metalib and EndNote. You may already have attended various excellent training sessions run by your Subject Librarians on online resources and how to find them. The Metalib sessions offered this February are general in nature and do not concentrate on any particular subject area. So, if you’ve never used Metalib before and want to learn, or your have questions about Metalib or EndNote, join us for one of the lunchtime talks.

We run two sets of sessions. The Systems Librarian Polly Dawes will demonstrate how Metalib search results may be downloaded to your EndNote libraries – these are the Perfect Partners sessions. The other talks are on Metalib itself. I will be demonstrating how Metalib can not only be used as a tool for locating online resources, searching across more than one database but also for organising your favourite databases and journals, automating searches, and saving search results in Metalib.

Neither session requires booking and we even offer tea and coffee to keep you going. If you need help deciding whether to attend have a look at the introductory page for Metalib where you can also login and have a peek at the service itself. Every member of the University of Bradford will have access with their UoB userID and password.
