Web of Knowledge is now available from its new platform as of Monday 4th January. Some of you may already have had a look before this date as we did have parallel access to both the new and old flavours. No new venture goes without some teething problems. So is the case with the 4th January upgrade. There are some issues with the off-campus Athens login to WoK. The problems are not major ones but you may find you are not able to login off-campus. If this happens to you, there is an alternative availalbe.

Go to the Web of Knowledge site and scroll to the bottom of the page. There is an alternative login link there for you to follow – the text says “Logging in and unable to connect”. You will be asked to login with your Athens username/password as normal but this link will sort out any lingering cached data on your personal computer that might refer to the old WoK platform.
